"Built without permission, by skateboarders and later sanctioned by the city, Burnside is the preeminent example of action.... Like a magnifying glass in the sun, Burnside can witness a concentration of skill level unmatched anywhere. You can see crazy, crazy things there. Go, watch, learn, be humbled, excited and inspired. It is amazing."

Wednesday, October 29
Halloween, or better known as Burnside Skateparks Birthday Bash, is this Friday and we've had a huge opportunity presented to us to help raise money to keep the park in top shape for another year. The skatepark has a new neighbor that is in the process of becoming a high rise building and the developers have made a deal with us to match all donations the skatepark receives (up to $5000) between now and Oct. 31. The Burnside Skatepark Non-profit has created the below Go Fund Me site to make it easy to both donate to the park and see how close we are to the goal. So click the link and dontate! Thank you.

If you're a huge corporation and you want to kick-down a huge donation, tax deductible even, feel free to hit us up on email, burnsideskatepark@gmail.com, and we can set you up with all our tax info too.

Burnside T-Shirts are now FREE with each $25.00 donation. We will ship anywhere in the lower 48 for no additional charge, sorry Hawaii and Alaska.

Colors/Sizes:

Black - Med, Large, X-Large
Grey - Large

We have a limited number of this first run of just over 50 shirts. First come first serve.

You can check to see that we still have your color/size or your donation had been received by either e-mail burnsideskatepark@gmail.com or via a private message on our facebook page. I looked into setting up a Paypal merchant account and decided we don’t need that right now. We already accept Paypal donations on our website burnsideskatepark.org (will re-direct to our actual site burnsideskatepark.blogspot.com) and we can receive the shipping address through that transaction. We will send an address confirmation message from Paypal back to you.

Official Non-Profit Status

Thursday, September 15
Burnside skatepark is now officially a 501c3 non-profit organization! It took a while but it's a done deal now. We also have had to change our website URL from burnsideskatepark.com to burnsideskatepark.org. We let the .com expire and someone came in and bought it before we realized what had happened. But I think the .org fits a non-profit better than .com anyhow, so screw that fake skate mom site that thinks using our .com name will get them hits and sales.
